Each transmitter module has a built-in agile frequency synthesizer and dynamically controlled power amplifier. Remote adjustments include power level, channel or frequency assignment and transmit On/Off.

Does Dragon transmit a CDMA signal?
No but Tortoise can modulate CDMA, UMTS, LTE or WiMAX when optional modulator is installed.
How modular is the Dragon Transmitter?
The Dragon does contain two independently removable modules but they must be removed/installed and calibrated at BVS labs.
Can Dragon be powered from a DC source?
No. As of 2015 all Dragons are AC (110V or 220V) only.
Can Dragon be controlled remotely?
Dragon supports connection via USB and can be controlled remotely when connected to any Windows PC. The IR remote support has been eliminated in all 2015 and newer Dragon models.
